Vanessa Santos was born in Rio de Janerio into a middle class family of four,Her father is Portuguese and her mother is French. Her Father is a teacher and mother own a little boutique store. Brazil is known for its famous festivals which is attended by tourist round the world. In a period like this demands are high and that was how Vanessa picked interest in fashion to attend to the needs of Tourist in small and medium scale. In late 90s She moved from Brazil to Texas in a quest to learn more about fashion and attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising(FIDM) amongst others.it is no mystery why Dee Clothing and designs is the cognoscenti she is today.Dee Clothings and Designs has accumulated over 10 years of experience in not only the fashion industry but also in the jewellery industry.
In her own words: I've been surrounded by art my whole life. My mom actually taught me to sew when I was pretty young. My mom was a Boutique owner and my dad was a Teacher. In the early days working with my mother as a boutique owner exposed me to a lot of styles and different kind of fabrique and I have always connected well with people, so I never looked back.
